After talking with Microsoft, I confirmed I was spyware infected. AV 2009 is
not a MS product. Running the scanner on their LIVE ONECARE SITE (over 2
hours) and then a MS tech spending 40 minutes "restting my computer" appears
to have solved the problem. I previously tried the above approaches but
the"bug" prevented me using some of the sites. Thanks for your quick
turnaroundandsuggestions.
If you had done a quick google search or visited these groups any day of
the week, AV 2008 and AV 2009 have been known malware for a LONG TIME.
These sites are for downloading Anti-Malware and Anti-Spyware tools, in
order that I would use them myself:
Dave Lipman's tools:
Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --

MalwareBytes Anti-Malware
