In future don't use Internet Explorer. That is almost certainly how
it got hijacked. Get firefox.

Dummy; that's what, one of about a thousand ways to get
hijacked/infected? IE is great, especially IE7 . I have NEVER gotten
anything malicious via IE whether it was version 3 or anything else up
to 7. Compared to IE, Firefox is crippled and needs too many
add-ons/plug-ins to be completely useful. Whichever is used, EDUCATION
is the key to being safe whether it be e-mail, surfing safely, or
filling out forms and everything in between.

Much more important is the collection of firewall, AV and spyware
detectors used or not used. What is needed varies with the
installation.
