You need to uninstall the latest update...then you need to change your settings to let the automatic update NOTIFY you so that YOU can decide what to download....you should only download the priority ones for MS software....all hardware updates should come from the hardware manufacturer.

My notebook has not acted properly since the latest automatic update from
windows was installed around the 13th of feb.....it acts like it doesn't want
to wake up. The lights come on, but the ones indicating cpu activity do not
come on. This appears to be more common when I forget to shut down and the
computer does it for me, but also has happened first thing in the morning
after a full shutdown the night before. Anyone else having these problems or
do I need to head to the repair shop?
