I was recently surfing the web and now I seem to have a new antivirus
software working on my machine. The name is XP Antivirus ver. 2.4.
It always wants to scan my machiine but won't correct any bad files
unless I purchase it first. I tried to unistall it but when I
restarted my machine it is back again. My normal AVG antivirus
software is not finding any bad files but this new one does. How do
I get rid of it?
Asked & answered in another group. In the future, please don't multipost -
if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by
posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG
names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Multiposting
wastes everyone's time, including yours, and may lead to your actually
getting *less* help rather than more.
