Yes - the burning software that I am trying to use is Nero Ultra, the system
OS is Vista Ultimate. The error that comes up says that the DVD Burner may
not be available over a remote desktop connection - this is a Windows
Security feature. I was hoping that this was something I could turn off with
a local security policy or something. It isn't just Nero though - I noticed
that I can not burn with other software apps as well.

I have a centralized DVD Burner that I want to access over Remote
Desktop to
initialize the Burn process. When I do this the "DVD Burner Drive"
is not
available. Is this security setting that I can control / modify
some where?
And we are to guess which CD burning software you are trying to use on
the remote host?
Nero has their Burnrights utility that you might want to investigate
if that is the CD burning software that you use.
