I have a centralized DVD Burner that I want to access over Remote Desktop to
initialize the Burn process. When I do this the "DVD Burner Drive" is not
available. Is this security setting that I can control / modify some where?

And we are to guess which CD burning software you are trying to use on the remote host?

Nero has their Burnrights utility that you might want to investigate if that is the CD burning software that you use.
