ok. my notebook is part of AD and the "IP sec pols" are for Computer
Configuration->Windows Settings->Security Settings->IP Security
Policies->Server(Request)
and the DC server is set to "Client (Respond Only)"
is that correct? what i see in the "IP Security Monitor\quick
mode\statistics" i'm not sure it is working. i don't see any ESP frames
in
network monitor either.

under "advanced tcp/ip settings" i do not have an option for IPSec,
only
tcp/ip filtering. how do i get the IPSec option there?
