Because you are not PINGING the server you connect to - you are pinging the
domain.
Whoever answers... answers.
You should get SPECIFIC if you want to ping something 'close' to you.
Why is this such a concern?

The Domain Controllers you connect to *are not* called 'domainname.com' -
they are called 'actualservername.domainname.com'.
LOGONSERVER=I have here write the server near to me...
But I want to understand why if I ping domainname.com the IP answer is
not the server near to me
.
