Why do we continue struggling with an operating system (Windows) that is
designed to give the criminally insane more power over our computers than we
have?

Virtual Private Networking in Windows XP Pro. and in Windows 98 SE ... I wanted to add this post because when the APS network was hacked in 2007 ...Windows 98 Second Edition got hit with an error but apparently ... and the NT source codes lack of a maintenance operating system like DOS ... You can all laugh if you like but I have used computers since about 1984 ... (microsoft.public.security)
Images not displaying in Word ... I have had this problem on three different computers - one with the Windows... 2000 operating system, one with Windows NT 4.0 operating system, and one with ... systems with different graphics cards that it is a Word problem and nothing ... Re: Running two copies of Windows XP ... On one of my computers I have 2 copies of Windows XP and a copy of Windows 2000. ... The primary partitions that are not booted are totally hidden from the working/active operating system.... To delete one of these operating systems I would just boot up the computer using my Partition Magic floppy disk set and format the associated partition. ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
