Rogue Spyware Programs


Can anyone help me figure out which of by antivirus programs are ok to
use?

I have downloaded the following programs to my comp (XP)
AOL Security Antivirus, Firewall, spyware (THESE ARE NOT WORKING FOR
ME)
Spybot (I deleted this one)
Adaware (Lavasoft)
Win Rocket (Acentive)
Avast antivirus

I purchased the following from PC Tools:
Spyware Doctor with Antivirus (6/5 was the first time this would update
in months)
Registry Mechanic

PCTOOLS has alert me that I had a HIGH PRIORITY *"Rogue antivirus"* on
my comp: Avast


Now I'm freezing up!

Please help.
