How can i erase the files that Google Desktop indexes. I want to sell my pc
without having to reformat or buy a new hdd, i want to sell the pc with all
my current applications working. No matter what i do, run ccleaner, delete
browser history ect ect, even when i uninstall clean out the registery of all
Google entries, when i re-install Google Desktop, it finds old files, music
emails web-history, i do on-line banking, so ID theft is a concern for me. Is
there something i can do with regedit or removing certain files or folders,
or do i need some software.
Many thanks.

So are you really selling the operating system and all those applications that you are leaving on the hard drive? Really? Didn't think so. So what you are selling to the buyer is just the hardware and a polluted drive.

killdisk.com
Wipes your drive.

If you are including the operating system with the hardware (i.e., you are giving the buyer the original installation CD and destroying any instances of installs from that license that you have) then still you should wipe the drive and let the buyer set it up they way they want, not with all the garbage that has collected on the hard drive since you've been using it.
