My friends on the "System Security" option (when you press F2) to choose the boot option, does not let me change the boot option, because I do not remember the "Enter Configuration Password"...password. I can enable, disable and set up my primary password and/or Admin Password...But the Configuration password is the one I can not remember! Need to know how to disable it or at least how to find out what passwsord is the one listed (*******)!
Since you reference "F2", I assume you are talking about a BIOS password. This has nothing to do with Windows (your operating system). If you have a desktop computer, you can reset the BIOS to default by either moving a jumper on the motherboard or removing the motherboard battery for a while. Sometimes it takes only a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. Refer to your motherboard manual for details.
If you have a laptop, it is more difficult. In that case, post back with the make/model of your laptop or call the laptop mftr.'s tech support.
If you aren't talking about a BIOS password, them please post back with a better description of what you are doing.
