Re: Security Center and ETrust v8

Here's the fix from CA's tech support. I haven't tried it yet.

Kim,

1) Identify the InoWMI.dll installed:

Program Files\CA\eTrustITM\InoWMI.dll

Backup the installed InoWMI.dll by renaming it to InoWMI.dll.old.

2) Shutdown the eTrust ITM Job Service

3) Replace the InoWMI.dll installed with

the one provided by support.

4) Start the eTrust ITM Job Service.

The .dll itself can be found at:

Kim,

The Windows Security Center or theeTrust'whatever' Center ?
Perhaps inquiring at CA would help you:

Kim

I've just started to receive the same message from the Windows
Security Center on machines where everything was working fine until
last week sometime. The CA KB appears to be very unhelpful.

We have software maintenance on this product so I have called CA this
morning to report this error - when I find out what it going on - I'll
update this post.
