Thanx, that info does help. Exactly what model of Dell do you have?
The one I am working on is an Inspiron 1501 laptop. Also I assume you
don't have Quickbooks since you didn't mention it?? And is your
version of Norton 2005??

I had the Java update as well as the Acrobat update and some sort of Windows
update that my Dell automatically updates and installs for me. I don't
really have details on that last one; the only reason I know there were
updates installsed is because there was a restart message for me. I hope
some of this helps.
