Security Center only knows how to recognize certain anti-virus programs.
It does not know how to find all of them. There is not much you can do
about that really.
On the upside, it is not really impacting your security any. Security
Center is simply a tool that tells you the state of the system. If you
click the little Shield icon you can tell it that you have a third-party
anti-virus program that you will monitor yourself and the shield will
return to green.

Just to add to Jesper's excellent advice, I see that you left out the name
of the "new anti-virus system suite". Do yourself a favor and please check
to make sure you didn't install a rogue antivirus/antispyware program.
Start with MVP Eric Howes' site here:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm
After you've done that, if you have any questions about the validity of the
program you installed please post back with its name.
