NDIS User Mode and "industybrains.com"

Hello,
Hopefully, this is a security related issue; otherwise apolgies for posting
in the wrong department.
Having recently set up a new firewall, it warns me about a process called
NDIS User mode I/O driver; that it is being contacted by a remote machine
(64.95.25.201 - www.industybrains.com) using localport 2406 (Jediserver).
Doing a search, I found that this driver is a part of XP's wireless setup
(which I don't use); but there are no links connecting it to
"industrybrains.com" as a site. "industrybrains.com" seems to have its own
hype on the internet; their domain describes them as "vertically-focused
marketing solutions for advertisers and publishers" which seems like the
ubiquitous mumble-speak of firms that love to collect and steal your private
information.
Can anyone advise me (1) if this service is actually a bona fide part of
Windows, and (2) why it is opening a communications port between the above
server and my computer.
thanks for any help on this...
Gerry
