Hi all,
I've got a client that has an animiated graphic of a lock, locking and
unlocking itself sitting on top of their screen.
There is no way to click on it, no way to move it and no way to read
through
it. I've checked the machine with two different virus checkers and it
came up clean. I've cleaned out all of the cookies and temp internet
files.
The only thing I noticed was that he had not downloaded any updates
lately.
Is this possibly some kind of reminder? I know that's probably a stupid
question but I can't find anything wrong with his machine.
Have you tried logging into the built-in Administrator account in Safe Mode?
Does the problem occur with any other user account? What third-party
security software does he have installed?
