I have an Acer laptop, and after recent events, I somehow set it up
to require a password upon start-up... the prompt appears right
after the Acer logo, before windows comes up. I know the password,
but would like to disable this prompt. It is seperate from the
Windows Administrator password protect (which is what I thought I
was doing!). I really am baffled as to how I set this up! Help!!??
You have set up the password in the BIOS.
Entry the BIOS and disable the startup password.
Refer to your Acer manual because entering the BIOS is different from
motherboard to motherboard.
