I have an Acer laptop, and after recent events, I somehow set it up to require a password upon start-up... the prompt appears right after the Acer logo, before windows comes up. I know the password, but would like to disable this prompt. It is seperate from the Windows Administrator password protect (which is what I thought I was doing!). I really am baffled as to how I set this up! Help!!??

You have set up the password in the BIOS.
Entry the BIOS and disable the startup password.
