I need to get rid of a very annoying company that a stupid
friend of mine installed and apparently agreed to. It's
called popcorn.com and they keep sending me huge, loud and
un-ignorable messages every other minute. They will
continue forever if I don't pay them a large amount of
dollars according to themselves.
This is not a serious way to run a company! They take
advantage of people and hide the conditions so it seems
like you agree to something that's free, especially for
people from foregin countries. As a student this is a big
deal for me economicly, but it's also a matter of
principals!
If anybody know how to uninstall this crap I would be so so
thankful!!! It would also be a statement against companies
taking advantige and make a profit out of peoples
unknowlegement.
The last time I had to uninstall that program from a
computer I used the free 30 day trial version of Ewido (now
AVG) Anti-spyware. You can download the program here,
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Take a look at the removal instructions provided by
Cybertech here.

You may not find all those programs he lists installed on
your computer, just make sure you uninstall any that you
find.
Good luck
