Sorry to *** in. But I had the same error crop up when I clicked on
"user accounts" in the control panel of my freshly installed XP. I've
been using XP since it came out and have used this applet many times
without any problems.
After having read your discussion above, I tried it again and confirmed
that the error message pointed to nusmgr.cpl. If I told it to continue
with the script, it works alright. No problem.
Then I tried "running" it from Start. If I RUN nusrmgr.cpl the applet
pops up OK. For some reason, the script must have had a typo in it. Or
did it used to be nusmgr.cpl and not nusrmgr.cpl?? Strange.
