Thanks for the links, they are very interesting. I will read them and check
permissions in Local Settings\Microsoft\Outlook but I doubt this is the issue.

I don't think my goal is to access that directory.

The goal is to get Outlook to access my pop server and download email. When
I try to do this the operating system gives me the error on this subject line.

I don't know exactly what I have done or how to fix it.

I was messing around with restoring some selected email messages to
Inbox
from Ghost 9.0 image.

Now I get this message, and I can not get email into Outlook.
