Re: Can't log into a Domain!!

Is the problem specific to the one computer or also when you try to logon
via another domain computer?? Are there any events in the logs that you can
access via Event Viewer that happen at logon? If so they may be of help and
you can try searching Microsoft.com or http://www.eventid.net for
information on those events and possible solutions. It may also help to run
the support tool netdiag on that computer while logged on as a local
administrator to see if it finds any Doman related problems.

I try to logon to a domain account and after hitting enter I get " Can't
logon" So I thought let's reconnect to a domain and I get the following
error: "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain
"domainname" The revision level is unknown". I searched this site anad
found
this: Error Message:
The revision level is unknown.

Explanation:
The service has encountered a revision level in a security object that it
does not recognize. For instance, this may be a more recent revision than
the
service knows about.

User Action:
Rebuild the security object in the current Windows 2000 environment. Then
the service will recognize its revision level.

My question is how do I rebuild the security object? It doesn't tell you
in
this document!

Thanks any help, JB
