Hi,
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.
I am running XP Media Edition. After 2 minutes on the internet I keep
getting the message "Generic host processes for Win32 has encountered a
problem... please save all documents" it then proceeds to close down before
you can even save documents.
I have run my AV it seems to finds a virus but it keeps re-appearing.
I have reformatted my hard disc twice and run Kill Disc but still no joy.
I am pulling my hair out - any help would be much appreciated.
What antivirus are you using? If yours cannot properly remove a
known virus then you need to get some assistance from another source,
such as one of the following free online scanners:
Bit Defender http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com
Kaspersky Online Scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
WindowSecurity.com TrojanScan http://windowssecurity.com/trojanscan
Webroot http://www.webroot.com/
Also what is the name of the virus that your av software keeps
finding? That may help to locate a specific cure, as there are some
very tricky new viruses circulating.
