Thanks Steve - how do I use/run services.msc?
Btw - I do have a router + ZoneLabs...

Though not an elegant solution you can use services.msc and set the Windows firewall service to disabled and then stop the service. Because of such software conflicts I ALWAYS recommend that any cable/DSL user also at least use an internet router to protect your network as the first line of defense. Such devices are usually less than the cost of internet service for a month or two..

Yesterday installed SP2 for WindowsXP. Now Windows Firewall is turned on and can't be turned off (the off radio button is greyed out). It's conflicting with my ZoneAlarm firewall. Anyone know how I might be able to correct this?
Thanks in advance, Bryan
