Donna,

Nothing is repeatedly running at 16 minutes past anything in the log. The Symantec NetDetect.job exit code means that the operation was completed successfully, according to Symantec.
Is NAV part of Norton Internet Security and, if yes, which version, please ?
If it is not, which version of NAV is installed ?

Good observation, Donna. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel
Open Scheduled Tasks and check to see if anything is scheduled to run at 16 past the hour.
If none are listed, close Scheduled Tasks.
Open the SchedLgU.Txt located in the WINDOWS directory (folder).
Copy and paste it into your reply, please.

Copy the following command

At the Command Prompt, right click the blinking cursor, select Paste
Press Enter
Restart the system

Open a Command Prompt once more
At the Command Prompt type in

netsh firewall reset
