Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
In the right pane, right click and select New, String Value. Name the new value RASDisable. Double click the RASDisable value and enter "1" without the quotes. Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to be part of Group Policies.

I want to be able to disable the Dial Up option on the Windows XP login screen..
I'm sure I've done it before, but for the life of me, don't know whether I
am having a "Terry Wogan" moment!
Can this be disabled in Group Policy please? As it's driving me nuts being
asked by every user "what does this do?"
