Hi
I messed up my last computer, and it just would not work. So I bought a
new
motherboard, cpu, etc but decided to use the old hard drive. Now heres
the problem with windows:
Trying to log on a user is not allowed because the administrator needs to
authorize the computer.
Trying that gives a screen saying "do you want to authorize?". Clicking
yes returns me to the log on screen.
When you installed your old hard drive in your essentially new computer, you
needed to do at least a Repair Install because of the difference in
hardware. Do this now. If you still have problems after the Repair Install,
back up your data and do a clean install of Windows.
