Go into Safe Mode and uninstall your McAfee software. Do this by repeatedly
tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the
right menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here.
If you have a recent version that has different components - antivirus,
anti-spam, firewall, security console - then uninstall all the components
before you uninstall the security console.
It would be wise to make sure your computer is completely
virus/malware-free:

If the machine is clean, then you can try reinstalling your McAfee software
if you still want it, or install a different and less invasive antivirus
like Kaspersky, NOD32, Avast, AVG, F-Prot.
