We have an XP machine connected to our network printer that we have automatically log itself on to our domain.
How would I set it so that it will automatically lock the desktop once it has finished logging in?
Thanks.
Why do you need the machine to be logged in at all, if all it's doing is acting as a printer server? It's completely unnecessary, you know.
Anyway, simply create a shortcut with "%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation" in the
target field. (It is case-sensitive, BTW.) Then place this shortcut in the appropriate Startup folder.
