Question 1: By default is this service DISABLED after SP2 is installed on
Home and Professional versions of XP Pro.??

Mine is DISABLED, I have never messed with the setting.
I ENABLED it and manually tried to start the service up...
Dialog box info I rec'd exact words...
Could not atart the HID Input Service on loacal computer. Error 2: the
system cannot find specific file.
Note, no file name given...
Question 2: Should I be able to manually start this service??
