XP Professional has two forms of Administrator permissions: The local administrator has permissions on the local machine only, while the network administrator has permissions on the network.

I have a Windows XP Professional operating system. I can log on to either my local network, or to my own pc. When i log on to just my pc, I can succesfully run regedit.exe. However, when I login with my usernam and select the network, I am unable to run regedit. I have checked and am seeing that both logins have Administrater privileges. Are there any suggestions on what I can check to confirm if I do not have privileges to run regedit?.
