Try going to Control Panel/system/Automatic Updates to make sure that the
first option for automatic is enabled. Also enter services.msc in the run
box and then hit OK. Find the Automatic Updates service and make sure the
startup type is automatic and that it is started under status. If you are
using a personal firewall other then the Windows Firewall it may also be
blocking access to Windows Updates. --- Steve
