Changed profile, lost documnets



Technology lost "my documents" when changed profile. No longer have all my word, excel, etc. files under c:\documents & settings\myname even though the directory existed before the change. Cannot find under any users listed in this directory. Can't do system restore as it is not enabled by our IT guys. Am logging on same as before as administrator to workstation only. Know files should still exist on hard drive but cannot access them. Major number of business files may be lost. Any help greatly appreciated!!!!
