Re: Upgrade from Home to Pro

This would seem to be a simple thing to offer and accomplish, yet I can't find anywhere to download anything that would upgrade it, with the exception of buying the full version of Pro.

Unless you have a very expensive MSDN subscription, Microsoft operating systems (excluding time-bombed beta versions) have *never* been available for downloading.

That seems stupid to me when most of Pro is already in Home, why not offer a patch or something?

Ever hear of a business plan, profits, and all that?

Am I just looking in the wrong places?

Yes, you're definitely looking in the wrong place.

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software.

2) Purchase Windows XP Professional Upgrade.

3) Return home.

4) Insert installation CD in PC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install application and desired additional
features.
