Did you have them ENCRYPTED or did you just have them protected withj
file/folder permissions?
Do you have Windows XP Professional?
If not - then you did not natively have them encrypted.
If you do/did have Windows XP Professional - then it is possible you had
encryoted files - but using the key/certificate you backed up using the best
practices for using the Encrypted File System - you should have no trouble
gaining access to them..
My guess is - however - you did not have them encrypted at all.
My guess is that you are getting the message (but did not include it in your
plea for help for whatever reason) of "Access Denied".
