Alternatively, click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Look in the right pane for a value called DisableTaskMgr. If it exists, it should be set to 0 (zero). If not, double click it and set it to 0. If it doesn't exist, right click in a blank area of the right pane and select New, DWord value. Name it DisableTaskMgr and leave it set at 0.

When I press "control+alt+delete" a message pops up saying that my "task.
manager has been turned off by administrator" Considering that I am on the
administrative and only account, and am the only user and have not touched
any setting on this computer in months, it must be some odd virus that has
done this.
Is there anyway to turn ON the task manager without having to open it?
