help please i can't seem to figure this out.

Q! i have sp home.
i have a Sharp LL-T17A3-H monitor
every time i try to log in via safe mode it says "Timed Out". what can
i do so that it stops saying that
i tried doing the same thing on someone elses monitor and it works.
Q2 i have made some files privite and now it says that access dinied
when i try to get to them again. of course i did the privitization in
safe mode with someone elses moitor.
now if i barrow it again and get back into safe mode what do i have to
do to give myself access again. also i denined acess to the admin i
think i am not sure and i can't check.

I am sorry if I sound like i know what I am saying but I really am lost
and don't know how to fix this I gata go in the smallest baby step
possible.
