The link below may help but to reiterate some points I would verify that the
guest account [net user guest command will verify] is active and that
everyone has share AND folder [NTFS] permissions. --- Steve

i have a wireless workgroup that consists of a windows xp home edition PC
and
Windows xp pro PC. They are both on a wireless LAN/workgroup. Both PCs
can
PING eachother fine and both can "see" the other in Network Places...that
is,
the computer name. The XP Home Edition PC can access files on the XP Pro
computer but when I try to access folders on the XP Home Edition PC from
the
XP Pro PC, I get a message saying that ACCESS is not available due to
permissions. I've ensured that Simple Sharing is available and I've gone
thru the Network Wizard to share the folder (it's actually C: drive ).
But,
still no go. Any help appreciated.
