I've been wondering this exact thing, and I was also referred to the
Group Policy Editor. However, I'd like to know how to apply these
things to specific users. Like I'm sure in the near future I'll be
asked to set up a dektop machine that has access to the internet, so
I'll create an admin account, and then a user one.
On the user one I'd like to remove just certain things. So yeah, I
think it's the gp, but could someone specify how to do it for just
certain users?
Are these machines in a domain?
There is quite good documentation on the group policy editor and how it all works on the Microsoft website.
