On the assumption tat the Windows security ceter uses system resources,

am interested in turning it off.
The Virus program I use has its own, and I think the duplication is

How do I go about turning the security center off (If I can).
TIA

I generally do not recommend such things *but* it is your computer and you
decide:
Because of the fact Windows Security Center is a service , goto Control
Panel->Administrative tools -> Services
Find Win Security Center and disable it.
