If your files are located in ntfs then all u have to do is first disable
simple sharing this can be dont by explorer > folder options (scroll down
for the option) then right click properties the files or folders u want to
restrict access to you will notice a new tab "secuity" go there and simply
remove whoom ever u want to restrict the access too.

I cannot download some files. I get a message saying I need to go to the
control panel, Internet Options and go to one of the seven tabs that are
there to enable ActiveX. When I go to control panel and click on
Internet
Options, the file is called "Properties" not "Internet Properties" and I
only
have two tabs - Privacy and Programs - instead of the seven I should
have -
General, Security Privacy, Content, Communications, Programs and
Advanced.
Apparently somehow this program has been modified and I am short some of
the
things that belong there. My question is how do I get the full group of
tabs
back so I can enable ActiveX.
Thanks for any help I can get.
