I hope you can help me. I have xp pro on a laptop. I accidently
eliminated both accounts in control userpasswords2 and completely
locked myself out. The
logon won't accept any passwords as correct. It gives me the message

are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must
be typed using the
correct case". Is there a solution to this?
Is the computer a member of a domain? If so, log in as local
Administrator and create new user accounts. If this is a company laptop
and you don't know the local Administrator password, you should really
take the machine to your IT people and have them fix things for you.
In any case, you can change the local Administrator password to a blank
with NTpasswd, log in and create new user accounts.
