I'm sorry, but you haven't provided enough information to get focused
troubleshooting. It can be very hard for a non-technical person to know
what to include in a post to a tech support newsgroup. Here is a link

In the meantime, here are some things to check:
1. What changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
2. Did you install antivirus software that has a firewall component?
3. What is the virus/malware status of the computer? Be sure it is

4. Look in Event Viewer for clues. Start>Run>eventvwr.msc [enter]
