I have an IBM Thinkpad laptop with Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. I had a
problem with a hard drive failing to boot, accompanied by intermittent
clicking sounds while the drive was being accessed. I now have a new hard
drive installed; can access the original drive as a 2nd Hard Drive; can
see
the files, but cannot open the folder containing my data. I get a "Denied
Access" message when I try.
Is there some way to gain access and retrieve data?
