Ok, so i was able to disable simple file sharing, but then when i go to
the
administrator folder and its properties in the sharing tab, when i click
on
share this folder and try and hit ok to get out of properties, it then
tells
me that "an error ocurred while trying to save administrator. The shared
resource was not created at this time...

Hi,
Nepatsfan helped with with a similar sort of problem, where a folder was
inaccessible because is was 'owned' by someone else, in your case the
previous administrator.
Have a look at his resolution to my problem and see if it helps you. The

Best of luck,

not
find a way to delete the password, so i just created a new account and
set
it
as the administrator. Howvere, upon restart, the previous administartor

reach
any
of the files that i had in the my documents area of that user account.
