No WPA wep choice in my network properties

I have no WPA WEP choice in my network properties set up. Network Authentication gives two choices Open or Shared. Data Encryption choices are either (only) disabled or WEP. No WPA, or shared Key or anything. Right now I am using WEP and am connected OK.
Anyway to get WPA active?
Is there a down load for WPA not part of XP2?
Is there some way to tweak Wireless Zero (if that is a problem)?

XP-2 with all downloads up-to-date.
