Re: Symantec: Which should come first... the chicken or the egg...

His obsessive love affair with Panda makes him do it. Getting rather
tiresome, isn't it?

I don't think that's the question he ask. Just another opportunity to
Norton bash?

Hello !

For your question you have to contact Symantec tech support. They will
provide the most acurate info .

However , I think that your really don't need these both -> Norton IS and
SystemWork because they single are high on resoruses and with them both
you'll have very slow system .Also they duplicate on protection -> They
both
include Norton Antivirus .
I think that you need only Norton System Work (not Internet Security)
because Norton's firewall included in IS is very very difficult to
control.
I installed it to perform tests and it was left to automatic level and it
blocked even its processes ,I couldn't perfrom the Live Update unless I
turned it off.
You really don't need it . :-) :-) :-)

I want to install Norton Internet Security 2006. I also want to install
Norton Systemworks 2006.
Which one should I install first?
Who can help me with this question?
I have spent a great deal of time on the Symantec site and found NO
answer to this question. I think I've the sequence right except the the
question above.
1. Uninstall Go back (v 3.60.211), NIS 2005 and then NSW 2004.
2. Check to see if Registry still shows entry for Go Back. If so,
delete it.
3. Then Install, if I can find out the answer above.

Thank you.
