how can i fix it so all users dont share the same start menu.in other
words if some one adds a program on there desk top, everyone dos`nt
get icons on there desk top or programs menu?
The location of the start menu shortcuts is determined by the software
installation routine they run, and you can move what you like afterwards if
you have local admin rights on that computer - just explore "documents and
settings" .....move whatever you want from the all users start menu, to the
individual users' start menu folders.
Same with the desktop.
However, this won't keep people from running the software.
