You have a startup program/service that is blocking internet access such as
a program that can also be a firewall assuming here that Internet Explorer
works fine but it just does not show web pages. Use msconfig [built in] or
Autoruns from SysInternals to do selective startup to isolate the program or
service that causing the problems and then you will have to remove or modify
the program settings. Msconfig would be best to start with. --- Steve
